Matija Krznar

Entrepreneur, passionate mountaineer, and adventurer. As the founder of the first car-sharing platform in Croatia, Matija was a pioneer in the development of green-tech mobility in the country. With over 10 years of experience in business and product innovation, he is focused on transforming society through digital potential, disruptive models, and sustainability.

Although Matija hails from one of the flattest regions of Croatia, Međimurje, his passion for mountains and conquering peaks has taken him on numerous challenging expeditions and to the highest summits of America, Africa, and Europe—including one of the most technically demanding climbing peaks in the Himalayas, Ama Dablam (6,812m) in Nepal.

With extensive experience in summiting mountain peaks worldwide, Matija continues to push the limits of human endurance and strength. His love for nature and challenges led him to establish EPIC TREKS, a brand specializing in trekking tours in the Himalayas.
